Last Thursday, Bayaaya Specialty Coffee hosted a farmer launch and training on the Emata Farmer Loan Program at its field office in Nadisi Centre, Budadiri.
The training introduced farmers to Emata’s digital lending solution, which provides digital loans to farmers through the agri-companies and cooperatives they trust and work with.

Access to appropriate and timely finance is an important part of strengthening farming livelihoods. For coffee farmers, financial resources can help meet seasonal needs, invest in their farms and improve their ability to participate effectively in the coffee value chain.
The launch provided an opportunity for farmers to learn more about how the Emata program works, ask questions and understand how digital financial services can support their farming activities.
For Bayaaya Specialty Coffee, initiatives that connect farmers with practical financial solutions are an important part of building stronger and more resilient coffee-growing communities.
The collaboration with Emata reflects a shared commitment to putting farmers at the centre of the coffee value chain and supporting them with services that can contribute to sustainable agricultural development.
Stronger farmers. Stronger communities. Better coffee.
